What can you expect while staying at Hoopers Island Bayside Haven?
Beautiful scenery, every wall has windows with a view! Simple, comfortable and cozy surroundings. Enjoy the night sky from our spectacular vantage point. Fresh seafood (crabs, oysters and more in season) within steps of the studio. Opportunities to walk, jog, bike, kayak, canoe, bird watch, try nature photography, collect beach glass and more, just steps from your door. Seafood and Hoopers Island.
We strive for Hoopers Island Bayside Haven to truly be a "get away from it all" location, although we do provide Basic internet access & Basic TV service. We also have plenty of books, DVDs and you can sign into your accounts for Prime Video/Hulu, etc.. This is chance to unplug for a little while, enjoy the scenery, the wildlife and the simplicity. Things to do here? .
The sunsets are amazing and you may notice others pulling out their chairs around "sunset" time up and down the bay, as they all admire the wondrous views. Central AC/ceiling fan, or use our 8 windows w/blinds (2 on each wall) to enjoy the plentiful breezes and views. We provide indoor/outdoor games, water floats, small crab pots, and a charcoal BBQ grill. How to get here?
Early risers will have a different set of views to enjoy, as the watermen begin bringing back some of their days catch, the water glistens as the sun begins to rise. I love this view while having my cup of tea on the front porch, sitting in one of the rockers. There a beautiful views from every window in The Haven Studio. Even thunderstorms are a sight to behold, and you can do so safely in the screened in porch out front. More photos

Refrigerator, stainless sink, cabinets with dishware, glassware, serving bowls, storage containers, etc. Pots, pans and pantry staples, spices, dish soap, cleansers and cleaning supplies, towels, etc. |
BATHROOM:
Fluffy Towels, double sinks, separate makeup vanity, starter toiletries, including scented Epsom salts for any sore muscles from the days activities. |
THE BEDROOM AREA:
Queen Bed, side tables, lamps and TV that can be viewed from either the bed or the futon. . |
FUTON AREA:
Full sized futon, ottoman, rocking chair, counter top/island and cabinetry with games/puzzles. Entrance to bathroom. Walk in closet behind futon. We provide water floats, bay "outdoor" towels. |
DINING AREA:
Dining Table with room for 2 or 3, breakfast bar with two stools and room divider. |
